Responding to cases that hit Citibank, Bank Indonesia Board of Governors Meeting was held meetings and decided to give three sanctions on Citibank.

First Sanctions:

Citibank prohibited from accepting new customers for priority service (Citigold) for one year.

Sanctions Second:

Citibank prohibited from issuing credit cards to new customers for two years.

Third Sanction:

Citibank debt collectors are prohibited from using the services outsourcing (outsourcing) for two years.

In addition, Citibank is also prohibited from opening new branches in Indonesia for a year. About 20 executives and management Citibank also suspended and required to follow the fit and proper test.
